Studio Policies & Etiquette

Ensuring a focused, clean, and respectful environment for every musician.

Arrival & Timing

• To respect the dedicated time of all students, please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your scheduled lesson. I am often recording or teaching another student; arriving exactly on time ensures everyone receives their full, uninterrupted session.

Street Parking

• Please be mindful of your positioning when parking on the street. Each section between driveways typically fits two cars.
• To ensure there is enough room for everyone, please avoid parking in the center of these sections. We appreciate your help in staying neighborly.

Studio Cleanliness

• On rainy days, please leave shoes outside the entryway to keep the studio floors dry and clean.
• To preserve the piano keys, all students are required to wash their hands with soap before the lesson begins.

Health & Wellness

• The health of our studio community is a priority.
• Minor Symptoms: If you are feeling under the weather, but well enough for a lesson, please wear a mask during your time in the studio. You may alternatively ask for a virtual lesson.
• Illness: If you have a fever or a contagious illness, please stay home to rest. We can discuss remote lesson options or rescheduling where possible.
